The Lucid Pelican is a 100-hour deep-sky framed canvas portrait of the celestial landscape surrounding IC 5070 and NGC 7000. Captured across June and July 2026, the image reveals immense clouds of glowing hydrogen, sculpted dust, and shadow drifting through the Pelican and North America Nebulae—transforming a scientifically faithful view of space into something dreamlike and ethereal.

Photographed through a William Optics Ultra-Cat 108mm astrograph with a cooled monochrome camera, the artwork combines natural red, green, and blue light with luminance and narrowband data from hydrogen-alpha, sulfur II, and oxygen III. These carefully collected wavelengths reveal structures normally hidden from the human eye, creating a layered vision where darkness, color, and light appear to flow together like a celestial dream.

This exclusive artwork is print 1 of a limited edition of only 5. It includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity documenting its creation, production process, and edition details.

What if my artwork arrives damaged?

Your artwork is carefully packaged for shipment. However, if your order arrives damaged or there is an issue during transit, simply contact me as soon as possible through the website with photographs of the damage and your order information.

No additional shipping insurance is required. Shipping-related issues will be resolved directly with you.
When will I get my order?

Orders are reviewed and processed within 1 business day before entering production. Metal prints typically require an additional 2–3 business days for production before shipping, after which transit time depends on your selected shipping method and destination. Please note that production and shipping estimates do not include weekends or holidays and are not guaranteed.

Digital bundles are delivered automatically after purchase. Most orders arrive within minutes, though occasional processing delays of up to approximately one hour may occur.

These dimensions were chosen to provide an ideal balance between affordability, visual impact, and image quality. Every available size maintains a print resolution above 200 DPI to preserve fine detail.

If you're looking for a custom size, please contact me through the website. Custom prints up to 30 inches wide may be available depending on the artwork.
