About the Artist

Watching countless episodes of How the Universe Works with my father on cold, snowy days sparked a lifelong fascination with the faint wonders hidden throughout the night sky. Although I lacked the mathematical aptitude and formal physics background, I believed astronomy demanded, I convinced myself that my path toward the cosmos had ended before it had even begun.

Years later, after spending much of my early twenties searching for direction, I found myself beneath the stars once again. Long nights of stargazing, combined with a background in long-exposure photography and a willingness to embrace pursuits often dismissed as unproductive, led to a quiet realization: meaningful contribution doesn’t always begin with certainty. More often, it begins with curiosity.

What began as aimless exploration gradually became a way of seeing. I discovered that the hours spent simply observing, wandering, and appreciating beauty were not distractions from life, but the very experiences that refined my artistic perspective. In learning to slow down, I found something worth sharing.

Today, with my camera pointed skyward, I strive to capture the transcendental clarity of the cosmos through authentic astrophotography. Every image is built from real photons that have traveled across space—sometimes for thousands or even millions of years—before reaching my camera. My hope is to create work that inspires the same sense of wonder that first drew me to look up, inviting others to pause, reflect, and perhaps catch a glimpse of themselves within the universe.

I've also come to understand that sharing this work through fine art is what allows it to continue. Every print purchased is an investment in future images, with proceeds reinvested into equipment, travel to darker skies, and the countless hours required to capture the universe with greater depth and fidelity.

I believe artistry emerges from the freedom to follow curiosity without immediate purpose. What first appears as folly often becomes a deeper understanding of beauty—not only in the universe, but within us.
